Carbonated bath

The carbonic bath is carried out in a special bath. It is filled with cold mineral water with a high concentration of carbon dioxide. Of course, the water is heated to a temperature of approximately 34 - 35 °C. However, this only happens right before its application. The reason is that due to the rapid heating, carbon dioxide is released from the mineral water and it then acts throughout the bath. The absorption of carbon dioxide results in the dilation of blood vessels and therefore increased blood flow to the tissues. This fact causes an increase in the amount of oxygen in the blood and perfect blood supply to the skin and muscles and the supply of all organs, including the brain, with well-oxygenated blood. The result of this process is the stimulation of the immune system and the self-healing abilities of the human body. Another effect of this medical procedure is also a reduction in blood pressure and pulse rate. The carbonic bath is therefore one of the main procedures used in the treatment of ischemic and cardiovascular diseases and in the post-treatment of conditions after a myocardial infarction. As a standard, a carbonic bath is indicated for patients who have problems  with high blood pressure . A bath with millions of small bubbles will be very beneficial in this case. It induces a feeling of calmness and normalizes systolic (higher value, e.g. 120) and diastolic pressure (lower value, e.g. 80). You may feel so relaxed after a bath that it makes you want to "nap". It is inappropriate to undergo this procedure in case of epilepsy, open superficial wounds and cardiac decompensation.
