During the warm-up in the Finnish sauna, tense and stiff muscles are significantly relaxed in the body, blood circulation in the tissues and their regeneration occurs. The high temperature also has a relaxing effect and helps wash away stress and worries. However, sauna is a rather demanding procedure for the body. Thanks to sweating, there is a large loss of fluids, which must therefore be replenished afterwards. A visit to the sauna is also not suitable for people with high blood pressure, fever, acute respiratory tract infections, cardiovascular disease or kidney impairment.
